Palm Springs 30th birthday party

Fortunate for us, Sarah Sherman Samuel of Smitten Studio did particularly that – threw an epic get together of Palm Springs and Alice in Wonderland proportions at one of our fav estates, Casa Verona. Whilst the invitation established the phase for a monochromatic colour scheme for guests to arrive in black & white, the birthday woman stood out, donning an adorable gold sequins tiny amount.

For my 30th birthday I realized I needed to have a location get together to discuss with my closest friends, so we selected Palm Springs, rented this wonderful property and went from there. I’ve often cherished the whimsical perception of “Alice in Wonderland” but wished to do a modern twist on it to match my individual individual aesthetic. My model is a lot more “Alice in Palms Springs”… what transpires when Alice meets the Rat Pack.
This theme was revealed by means of above-sized bow headpieces, Alice and the White Rabbit Location cards, “drink me” labels on the eyeglasses, best hats, cat mask, rabbit ears, gold painted flamingos, giant paper blossoms, and the combine of fanciful patterns. I developed and experienced printed all of the textiles which I then manufactured the napkins, table cloths, and table runners from. The centerpieces the place manufactured of candles and consuming glasses that I purchased at the 99 cent store. I sprayed them all white, and then I painted the glass candles to search as although they ended up dipped in gold, and for the glasses that served as candle holders, I employed a gold foil pen to quite them up with a dot routine.
