We’re going to chat about two very important things. You can’t, and shouldn’t have one without the other. First, there’s your engagement ring. Below you’ll see some beautiful engagement rings we found, that are more on the unique side. They have different cut diamonds, some have an unfinished look to them, and other have a vintage flare to them that we absolutely love. Secondly, you need to find the right jewelry insurance to protect it. The last thing you want to think about after saying yes to the proposal of your dreams, is losing the ring. Horrible thing to bring up after you’ve invested in it both financially and emotionally, we know. Sadly, it does happen.
In fact, according to claims received by Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, provider of Perfect Circle® Jewelry Insurance, loss accounts for nearly one third of all jewelry claims received.
Acquiring jewelry Insurance is an easy and important step in protecting your ring. Insurance is a cost everyone should build into their budget for purchases of valuable jewelry items. Sites like PerfectCircleInsurance.com offer handy premium calculators so you can easily get a quote and apply for coverage. Finding the appropriate insurance for your engagement and wedding ring in advance will alleviate the anxiety associated with even the most extreme cases of loss.

A soggy red-carpet and downpour of rain couldn’t deter Hollywood’s finest from descending onto La Croisette for the opening ceremony of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Accessorising their couture gowns with black umbrellas, both Hollywood heavyweights and international film elite braved the cloudy skies to attend the most glamorous film festival on the calendar.
Unlike previous years, where the film opening the festival has it’s world premiere on the French Riviera, the 2013 festival opened with a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s lavish The Great Gatsby (which has already premiered in North America). No stranger to the glitz and prestige of Cannes, Luhrmann broke onto the international film stage when his 1992 film, Strictly Ballroom, won a coveted place in the festival’s Un Certain Regard sidebar category and i his visual spectacular Moulin Rouge opened the festival in 2002.
